Capital Campaign
As we chart our course to our new location in the East River mixed-use development just east of downtown Houston, we invite you to be a part of our exciting voyage!
Description
Houston Maritime Center & Museum promotes understanding of the historic pioneering spirit empowering Texas and the vast and often under-appreciated economic benefits of the maritime industry to our state as a public resource, museum, and educational bridge between the maritime community and public-at-large.
Houston Maritime Center & Museum eagerly anticipates reopening late 2024. We will be located on the banks of Buffalo Bayou along Houston’s Hike and Bike Trail, in an innovative space featuring residences, shops, offices, and restaurants. Excellent access and amenities promises a tremendous positive impact on HMC&M and its many endeavors.
The Houston Maritime Center & Museum is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization educating the community on maritime history and industry. HMC&M is supported by membership, gift shop sales and the generous donations from corporations and people like you. All donations are tax deductible to the full extent of the law.
Please direct all questions and inquiries to embark@houstonmaritime.org.
While in drydock, HMC&M will continue important outreach to the industry and the community, visit our Events page for what’s on deckÂ
