History Lecture: USS Texas: Past and Future with Travis Davis

About the Lecture

USS Texas is one of the last remaining U.S. battleships afloat to have served in both World Wars.  In 1948 she was the first U.S. battleship to become a permanent museum ship and in 1976 was the first to be declared a U.S. National Historic Landmark.  She is the world’s last surviving Dreadnaught. Come learn more about her storied past, exciting present and what the future holds!

Travis Davis, VP of Ship Operations for the Battleship Texas Foundation, will provide insight on this historic treasure!
