At the heart of our mission is education—preserving the legacy of the Houston Ship Channel, curating immersive exhibits, maintaining historical archives, and expanding digital access for learners of all ages.

Virtual Outreach

The Anchor Newsletter | $5,000

The Anchor is sent out to our database of donors, members, enthusiasts, docents, and more quarterly with museum updates, new exhibits, virtual updates, membership information, partner articles, and more.

Website Sponsor | $7,500

The HMC&M website is where our members and constituents go to find information, sign up for events, manage their memberships, and learn more about the maritime world. Like any website, ours requires maintenance and operating costs. Your sponsorship will help us cover those costs to maintain our current site and add more features of our members, corporate members, and constituents.

Educational Outreach

Family Days | $5,000

Family Days at HMC&M bring families and kids of all ages into our gallery for activities and programs that focus on education and hands-on interaction with the maritime world.

Classroom Education Programs | $7,500

Support the development of our classroom modules. These are designed to bring the maritime world into the classroom at all ages, promoting maritime careers and educating students on Houston’s maritime history and the history of the Houston ship channel.

Virtual Online Curriculum | $7,500

Houston Maritime Center & Museum is developing an online platform containing lesson plans with multi-media support tools, including video, quizzes, worksheets, and more for students at all grade levels. Content will be available to educators and members looking to expand their knowledge base but unable to visit in-person or for distance reasons. This program is aimed to be accessible to any geographic area.

SPECIAL EVENTS

Maritime Monday | $1,200 per event

Be our co-sponsor of a Maritime Monday social and networking event! Maritime Mondays are a great opportunity for industry professionals to meet and greet current and new colleagues.
