Join us as we bring a world-class maritime museum to the Texas Gulf Coast.

Our modern berth will present history, arts, culture, and sciences through a maritime lens. History from the earliest maritime pioneers to modern day and its tremendous impact on the upper Gulf Coast area will be presented through a selection of over 3000 artifacts, art, and ship models. Arranged in time, geographical, and technology continuum narratives, our collection will illuminate greater understanding of maritime relationships while actively promoting important STEAM education principles to area schoolchildren.

Ever since the Allen Brothers’ landing, our waterways have been the lifeblood of Houston. Commerce from Houston’s #1 Port in America contributes almost $1 trillion dollars per year to the US economy and over 18% to the State of Texas GDP. The City of Houston and the upper Gulf Coast area deserve a modern Maritime Museum we can all enjoy and promote to the rest of the world.
