For those who have visited Houston Maritime’s interim site at the corner of Navigation and Canal, you may have noticed the stunning artwork decorating the wall along the entry way to the museum gallery.

This mural was designed and painted by local Houston graffiti artist Anthony Rose. Flanked by anchors, the mural creates an imposing entry into what would otherwise look like a drab building from the outside.

While our doors are currently closed to visitors due to COVID-19, we highly recommend you drop by if you’re in the area and take a minute to enjoy this piece of artwork that Houston Maritime is thrilled to have!
